Lenards

Lenard's is one of Australia's largest fresh food retailers and franchise chain. Priding itself on fresh and healthy meal options for all types of Australian families.

The advantage of working as an in-house creative meant that you could live and breath the business which gave you a capital edge on external agencies. The retail food market is a tough gig any day of the week, without the issues of an overly-cautious Avian Flu customer.

Making chicken pretty, in a hard core retail environment, is about as tough as it get’s which means any creative victory is worth celebrating.

With the launch of a new TVC in mid 2006 we set out to develop an improved brand consistency. Whilst with Lenard’s I developed a new point of sale campaign every six weeks as well as supporting all other national and regional marketing.

Specialty Print Techniques

My favourite mailing piece was this lenticular 3D A5 card sent out to promote a staff competition. The new lenticular technology meant it was so realistic and impossible to resisting playing with the piece.

As part of Point of Sale items in store, Electrostic decals were used to highlight and section off areas of the window display. I’ve had the experience of working with spots, full colour and even successfully metallics on electrostatic stock.
Die-cuts, screens, hanging mobiles, stickers and much more, all designed on different materials gave me a tremendous printing experience and meant that sometimes we got to experiment a little.
Brochures, leaflets, flyers and all forms of printed collateral were really the main methods of communicating to the customer base.
